Welcome to our refreshed website! Since we’re now fully an online quilting shop, we wanted to think outside the box about how we could still engage with you, our customers, as if you were in the shop and we were tossing around ideas.
From this came “Inspiration”! Here we will post ideas, and projects, and show you different ways people are doing things, and encourage you to try something different.
We decided to start with Inspiration from our customers! One of our favourite days of the month is Block of the Month day. People in this program come in with their completed Block and we share all the different ways you can interpret the same block, through fabric choice and colour placement.
Ponder the examples below. What grabs your attention? How does the fabric change the look? What difference do the various colour values make? What pops when you change colour values?
Time to play! Grab any block pattern and fabric from your scraps or your stash. Then make it a few times with different fabrics and colours …. use a light colour one time then a dark or medium colour when you do it the next time. Send us your samples…we love to share and inspire!
