Welcome back! Let’s start with a quick read through of Steps 8 and 9.

Now on to the final steps!

When trimming long sides, I found it helpful to determine a measurement from centre tips to outer cutting edge (in my case, 6-1/4”).

I then aligned the ruler, tip to tip, as I moved across the runner.

Although not mentioned in the pattern, you do need to trim the surplus batting and backing at the ends of the runner as well.

Before doing the decorative stitching, you may want to create a sandwich with your scraps and try some stitches and some different threads/thread colours. This is also an opportunity to check your tension before you start.

All that’s left to do….make the binding and attach it to the runner.

For some tips to hand sewing the last side of the binding, check out our video

You’re done!
